The second of our Spring semester family dances will be held Friday, February 10 from 4:30-6:30. These dances are geared toward the middle and older kids and adults, but we will throw in a couple that even the youngest dancers can do. Please remember to have quiet activities for the young non dancers to keep them entertained. I know it is hard to not run and play in a gym, but for the benefit of the actual dancers, we need them reasonably quiet. We will also try to work on one or two dances for our Simple Summer Ball, though we will also schedule some dedicated learning sessions closer to the ball itself. We really enjoy these social times together passing on the love of dance while also fighting off the doldrums of the long winter days.
“Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance. Great dancers are great because of their passion.”
